Redax has developed round PVC wound drain series specifically for post-operative surgery.
PVC medical grade, biocompatible, thromb and kink-resistant drains. All drains are marked with a blue X-ray line and have a clear graduation mark 5 cm from the last hole. It has an opposing eye in the distal end to ensure atraumatic drainage and reduce risk of occlusion, following accumulation of fibrin. The tube is also available with trocar needle premounted on drainage. Standard drainage length is 50 cm with a fenestration section of 14 cm on the end of the tube. |
