​Redax Heimlich one-way valve is designed to avoid of fluids and air backflow to the patient. Available with and without pre-connected collection bag, it is mainly indicated for thoracic–surgery procedures.

• The device consists of a plastic body with an internal one way valve
• The heimlich valve is connected to the catheter via the tapered connector
  
• The valve allows air to vent from the pneumothorax to the atmosphere but prevents reverse flow
  
• The heimlich valve is also available as a complete set with a pre-connected collection bag
  
• The 2000ml bag is equipped with tap to empty the liquid and an air vent valve to release air leaks from patient
  
• Single use, sterile
